How we invest

  • Buyer first.
We judge a product the way the lab that buys it will, by the work it changes, how it fits their systems and what it takes to pass validation. Efficiency, quality and compliance are the metrics that matter.
  • Direct access.
Founders work with the person who makes the investment decision, from the first call onward. Early expert feedback and introductions to customers, partners and investors are part of the deal.
  • Two markets.
The US is our home market, and we also back Nordic founders in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. We help companies reach customers across the Atlantic when they're ready to expand.
  • Research in the open.
We share our research and perspectives on the science, markets and infrastructure behind biotech, pharma and life-science operations to help founders and operators make better decisions.
